Product Usage
The impulse current generator is mainly used to generate high amplitude lightning impulse current, to test the ability of electrical components and surge protection devices to withstand strong impulse currents. It is also possible to conduct impulse current withstand tests on the valve plates and electrical devices of the oxidation arrester, as well as other electrical equipment, under operating conditions. Widely used in power equipment manufacturing plants, power operation departments, research institutions, and higher education institutions. The product is used to simulate various types of lightning currents, such as 1/<20us, 4/10 us, 8/20us, 18/40 us, 10/350us, 10/1000us, and 2ms square wave impulse current waveforms.

Product Features
This product has small size, compact structure, and convenient wave modulation.
This product has a high output current (4/10uS waveform reaching 100kA).
The resistor adopts a non-inductive winding method to ensure that the overall circuit inductance is small.
Adopting constant current charging method, the charging voltage is stable and the instability is not greater than ± 1%.
Adopting a lower ball cylinder to push and trigger, with good synchronization performance and reliable action.
Use an automatic grounding switch to short-circuit and discharge the main capacitor and ground it through a protective resistor.
Each main capacitor sleeve is connected with a high-energy non-inductive energy absorbing resistor in series, ensuring the safety of the main capacitor.
It can generate impulse current waveforms such as 1/<20us, 4/10 us, 8/20us, 18/40 us, 10/350us, 10/1000us, and 2ms square waves.
Adopting an integrated computer measurement and control system, it has a high degree of automation and strong anti-interference ability.
